From the East

August 2017

Our August stated communication marks one of our most anticipated meetings of the year. Not only will we be holding a joint communication with Sandston Lodge No. 216, we will be welcoming and receiving our Grand Master, Most Worshipful V. Stuart Cook. I hope that you will all come out to support our Most Worshipful Cook as he comes to our Lodge for the first time as Grand Master.

The clay shooting competition has been postponed until April 2018 due to a scheduling conflict. We will announce more details at the stated communication.

Both the summer and our Masonic year are more than half over, and hopefully soon the hear will break to some milder temperatures. As the weather cools off, we have several other events to mark your calendars for. At our September stated communication, we will welcome the Brethren from Millboro Lodge No. 28 who will visit us and assume chairs in Henrico Union Lodge for the evening. The next day on September 7, we will take a trip out to the bay where we will spend a day on a charter fishing boat with the Brethren.

Also, keep in mind that we have several new brothers who are progressing through the degrees, and we always need brethren willing to take part on a degree team.
